According to the statement made by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Shireen Abu Akleh, the female correspondent of Al Jazeera, Died after being critically wounded. Abu Akleh was shot in the head.  Shireen Abu Akleh was covering the Israeli army raid on the Jenin camp.

 

Al Jazeera: We Hold Israel Responsible

Al Jazeera channel announced that they hold the Israeli government responsible for the murder of its employee, Shireen Abu Akleh, by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank.

In an assertion on its social media accounts, the channel said, “Israeli profession forces assassinated our reporter Şirin Abu Akile in bloodless blood, violating global legal guidelines and norms, and with a premeditated murder . ”

Pointing out that Akleh was killed by live bullets aimed directly at him while he was wearing a press vest that clearly showed his identity, the statement said, “We condemn this heinous crime aimed at preventing the press from doing its job and hold the Israeli government responsible for the murder of our colleague. ”

Joint Investigation’ Offer From Israel

A written statement was made after the murder of reporter Shireen Abu Akleh by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In the statement, Lapid said that they “offered a joint medical investigation” to the Palestinians regarding the “sad death” of Aljazeera’s female reporter, Shireen Abu Akleh.

Noting that journalists “should be included in struggle zones and anybody is answerable for mastering the truth,” Lapid mentioned that the “Israeli navy will perform operations anyplace important to combat terrorism and save you the killing of Israelis. ”
Lapid’s statement did not include any details that Akleh died as a result of a fire opened by the Israeli army.
