The first popular horror movie that I remember watching in a cinema was Evil Dead. The movie actually scared numerous people to death as it was considered one of the Best Horror Movies of those days. Many horror movies were released but, one movie that I personally liked is Conjuring and it is in this list of Top Horror movies.
The factors that make any horror movie a good scary movie is the script and visual effects. If the visual effects and story are weak, no matter how many horror scenes it has, it will never be able to give you goosebumps. Chapter 3 movie this looks scarier than 1 and 2. I wanna watch but I’d have to take my younger siblings who are scared of crayons… Hmmm.
