With so many automakers viewing the small crossover SUV as a significant growth opportunity luxury brands are no exception. Nearly every high-end manufacturer produces at least one subcompact SUV. The Volvo XC40 is one of the newest of these SUVs and offers many of the qualities fo which Volvo is known. While the 2019 XC40 successfully translated the distinctive look of Volvo’s larger SUV to the subcompact genre, the 2020 version gives you everything you could want in a vehicle by adding things like a large central touchscreen, digital instrument panel, and floating air vents.
Last year’s XC40 was built on passenger safety, and the 2020 version is no different offering blind-spot monitoring and forward-collision warning. And the addition of cutting-edge options like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are nice touches. While not every luxury automaker has been able to package its core strengths into a small, affordable luxury crossover, Volvo has done its homework with the 2020 XC40! It’s undoubtedly an SUV worth recommending!
